Image Editing and Publishing
Here there are some useful tools to make posters, flyers or roll-ups.
INKSCAPE > Open Software very useful to design your own posters or flyers. For basic materials is quite easy to manage, and if you want to get deeper on different tools, your results will be absolutly amazing.
NEWSLETTERS & FLYERS:
SCRIBUS > Open Software, very basic and easy to work with..
PUBLISHER > Microsoft Software... be ready to pay! Scribus is almost the same, so... go for Scribus!
IMAGE EDITING:
VECTOR MAGIC > Basic software to export your images to vectors (wich is necessary to work with some softwares).
GIMP > Open Software, you will find any possible tool about image editing, but it is not so easy to work with.
BLENDER > If you are interested on 3D, this is a good option … It takes time to learn how to use it (no, we are not talking about 2 hours!).
PICTURE EDITING:
PHOTOSCAPE > Open Software with many different tools.
FOTOSKETCHER > Open Software, not so good as Photoscape but it is available in 19 languages (something to take in consideration for international projects).
AVIARY > App for picture editing (tablets or smartphones).
PIXRL > Another possible software... Useful for collages, calendars or family trees.
INSTAGRAM > Very well known app for picture editing and sharing.
FREE IMAGES:
MORGUEFILE > Focus on pictures, there is a nice structure.
GOOGLE SEARCHER > You can make your search taking in consideration if it is possible to use the image or edit the image (just click on “searching tools”).
