Very used some years ago... and sometimes like a website because it was easier. A blog should be more a diary or a very informal way to share news, very flexible and usefull if you want to share something on your social nets and also to receive feedback!

If you have a long-term project (at least more than 5 months -from our point of view-), it is a good tool to follow the process and understand the evolution. For example, it is incredible how many thing you will discover if you use a blog for your youthpass in a EVS project!!!

About which could be a good option... we suggest 2:

BLOGGER > Very easy, it is for free and maybe the only problem is that sometimes it looks too simple. View example of a EVS diary

WORDPRESS > Not so easy than blogger and it gives many options if you want to develop you blog as much as you want. View example of a EVS diary

Advice:

If there is a group project, it would be better to create a “project email” and avoy any personal email account. Otherwise, when there is another person who takes care of the blog -as well as other things-, you should change everything -not so difficult if there is a good communication... not so easy if not-.
